Enrolment Process
Bairnsdale Secondary College is the largest secondary provider in East Gippsland, and we welcome new enrolments.
If you are interested in enrolling your child with us, please contact the Administration Office on 5150 4800 to make a time for a meeting. The enrolment meeting is an opportunity for parents and student/s to meet with a School Leader to discuss your child’s transition into the school and to answer any of your questions.
At the end of the meeting, you will be provided with an Enrolment Pack to take home to complete and you will need to provide supporting documentation including evidence of your child's name and date of birth (e.g., birth certificate) and Immunisation History Statement. Additional supporting documents such as visa documentation, court orders or medical plans may also be required.
School zones
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones.
Students residing in our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address. Our school may also have additional capacity available to welcome students who are outside of our school zone.
Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.
